Gus Adik: Echoes of Duality

Ida Bagus Made, known as "Gus Adik," was born on August 21, 1987, in Tabanan, Bali. From an early age, he demonstrated a natural talent for art, attending Saraswati School in Tabanan, where he won an award in a Jakarta painting competition celebrating Heroes' Day. His artistic journey continued at SMP 2 Tabanan, where he earned second place in an inter-school painting competition, further solidifying his passion for the arts.

After graduating in 2005, Gus Adik pursued his formal art education at the Indonesian Art Faculty in Denpasar, where he honed his skills and deepened his understanding of traditional and contemporary Balinese art. He graduated in 2011 and quickly became an active participant in the local art scene, exhibiting his works in various galleries until 2013.

Since then, Gus Adik has dedicated himself entirely to his craft, evolving his style and gaining recognition as a painter. His works reflect a deep connection to his cultural roots while also exploring new artistic expressions, making him a notable figure in the contemporary Balinese art community. Gus Adik continues to create and inspire, contributing to the rich tapestry of Indonesian art.
