Julian Plum: Recent Works
Julian Plum is a queer illustrator and author with a deep love of colors, stories, and creatures. A deep fascination with the natural world—the textures, the colors, the connections—is the soil nourishing all of Julian's work. You’ll find Julian in the Finger Lakes of New York illustrating warm, colorful flora, fauna, and fungi in gouache. Everything he paints is intensely studied and researched down to the last tiny hidden detail. When not painting, you will find Julian wandering in the woods closely inspecting mushroom caps and acorns and figuring out the names of all the slugs he sees.
